About Me
I have an obsession with words—reading them, writing them, learning their histories. Words are communication and connection. They're comfort and strength. They're understanding.
And at the heart of it, that's what we all want: to be understood. To be seen.
I've spent my career seeing people. I earned a BA in psychology, then a J.D. Since then, I spent nearly two decades as a disability attorney. I met people at their lowest. I felt their struggle. I heard their stories. Again and again, I helped them articulate what they couldn't and then shaped their words into a narrative.
But being a lawyer was never my calling. Writing is. And once I said it out loud, I went all in. Creative writing and novel-writing classes, workshops and webinars. I learned about writing; I read about writing; and I wrote.
I write.
Words spill out of me as essays, fiction, and even prose poetry. Long form and short. I feel compelled to write it all.
Now I'm here because I want to use my passion and talent to help you. As a trauma-informed interviewer, I handle your challenges with care. As an expert researcher, I make sure the details are right. As an enthusiastic collaborator, I write your joy with the energy it deserves.
Your story. Your voice. My words.
